What do you do when your pie falls off of your window sill? Well, if you are at home and there is nothing breakable, then you still eat it. If you are in a restaurant, you deconstruct the pie so that everyone gets a piece of the crust and a portion of the filling.
This Sunday, Rendezvous is happy to bake everyone pie. But instead of trying to accommodate pie pans and the mess of slicing wedges for 300 people, we are going to portion the pie as if the whole thing fell off the window while cooling.
The other great thing about this recipe is that it features multiple dimensions of apples. There is apple jelly, apple cider, and apple jack baked into the pie crust.
